Poriavoronnacho Samball, Fuddle Pillgek Uzar

The LACARS Cell of Rachol Seminary organized a half-day programme on 23 July 2026 at 3:30 p.m. in the Seminary Auditorium. The event was centred on the theme “Poriavoronnacho Samball, Fuddle Pillgek Uzar” (Environmental Conservation for a Better Future). Its primary objective was to create awareness about environmental conservation while encouraging seminarians to express their creativity, talents, and concern for nature through various literary, artistic, and cultural competitions.

The programme was divided into three segments: Pre-Event Activity, Off-Stage Activities, and On-Stage Activities. The Pre-Event Activity featured E-Jairat (E-Poster Design). The Off-Stage Activities included Soimbacho Sur (Poetry Writing), Somudrik Motiam (Mandala Art), and Xristticho Svad (Cooking Competition). The On-Stage Activities comprised Soimnik Sobitay (Fashion Show) and Oparitlem Bhanddar (One-Act Play).

The competitions were judged by Fr. Milagres Dias and Mr. Euban Pereira, whose expertise and valuable feedback added depth and encouragement to the participants’ efforts.

Each competition served not only as a platform for seminarians to showcase their talents but also as an opportunity to deepen their awareness of environmental stewardship and inspire a greater sense of responsibility towards the care of creation.

The programme concluded with the announcement of the results, during which St. Michael Group emerged as the overall champions. The event was a meaningful blend of creativity, teamwork, and ecological awareness, leaving the participants inspired to become more responsible stewards of God’s creation.
